To begin with, I would like to describe the entire menu as underground. We had ordered a 3-course menu for 2 people (last Thursday) through Groupon. It all worked wonderfully, but at home, when unpacking the things we had ordered, we made terrible discoveries. 1. The alleged crispy lentil bread with 3 dips was completely missing. 2. The various vegetables with Indian spices were baked with a terrible batter and absolutely no longer edible. A case for the bin. 3. Both dishes ordered No. 64 Chicken Bhuna Masala and No. 70 Chili Chicken were cooked in such an oily mush that the oil floated on top. Completely inedible and also a waste for the bin. 4. We then ate a small plastic bowl of ice cream because we were so hungry. All in all a very unpleasant dinner. I then contacted the owner the same evening, but this man does not respond in any way. Conclusion: absolutely not to be recommended.
Very good and punctual delivery, the food was delicious and at a very good temperature. Lovely again.
Great food, original Indian experience. Friendly staff and ok amenities. Good location
Worst restaurant experience ever in my life. Very bad service and totally unhygenic place. Food was disaster and dint taste fresh at all. Somehow I felt like they reheated the dishes already cooked and served.
Poor Quality and service for the prices they charge. Extremely disappointing. :(
We recommend A great restaurant with delicious food Spontaneously ordered from there today The food (curry) was well packaged and delivered by a friendly man. The naan bread with mint sauce is also recommended. The Arbend felt like a visit to the on-site restaurant despite the current restrictions. Indian cuisine at the highest level !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my current test experience, I've rarely come across such a great dish ♡♡♡♡♡ The price was also more than reasonable for Indian food. I think to order there more often and can only warmly recommend it. An absolute highlight for the palate and the soul ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Nice atmosphere, was a little too empty though and tasty food
Very friendly staff, the excellent cuisine made up for the long waiting time. But since we enjoy eating out and then also have time, that's absolutely okay. Moderate prices. It will be a new regular restaurant for us. From tomorrow November 2nd, 2020, unfortunately only as a delivery service due to the lockdown.
Were there yesterday ... Delicious Budding atmosphere Very friendly workers ... including the boss who you can tell that he cares a lot about his customers
Worst experience ever. No person ever reached out to us for taking the order for atleast 15 mins after we settled at the place and later a person comes and then takes the order but then the same repeats. Atlast we get our starters but the soup was tasteless and the main course was ok ok. Waste of money. Not recommended at all.
I wish I could give negative star. Low quality and unhygenic. Poor service!
We made a spontaneous decision and it was a good decision. We were warmly welcomed and got a table without pre-ordering. The food was really delicious. 😋😋😋 Unfortunately we are not from the surrounding area otherwise we would visit the Taj Mahal more often
Tasty food and good lunch menu.
It was all great. A very cozy and cozy restaurant. Perfect for the winter time. The food and service were excellent too. We would love to come back. I also love the music. A musical excursion into the Bollywood films. :)
The waiting time was enormous on a Saturday. But it was worth it. Homemade, hot and fresh, incredibly delicious! Also completely reasonable in terms of price. Thanks for a little trip to India ☺️
The food and atmosphere was great! I would definitely recommend coming here over any other of the restaurants within the city center. The food came out fast and was delicious as it had sounded on the menu
Longer waiting time, but very authentic and tasty! Vegan also possible. Very sympathic.
Nice cozy ambience. We sat on super comfortable sofas. The choice of dishes is good. Not too much and not too little. The food was very tasty. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Priced in the middle. Definitely recommended.
I ordered from here samosa and chicken curry and was delicious. The food came in the announced time, no delay, and I even got a dessert as a bonus. I am surprised to see many bad reviews though...
Nice food and very service
Indian Punjabi style restaurant in Dusseldorf. Loved the food. Amazing taste like Punjabi Dhaba. When it was difficult to get vegetarian food in the city, I was blessed with it. If the cost was little lower side, it would help lot of Indians who love to taste their homely food.
This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Firstly the food was so bad that we didn’t anything from all 4 dishes we ordered. The Nana was smiling of Old meat we complained about it, the waiter didn’t do anything. Chicken Korma was not editable, the meat in Biryani was still row. The gentleman who was serving was super rude and very disrespectful. Refrain from going to this restaurant at all costs. You will find so many better restaurants than this one. We were treated very poorly and I can’t phantom the service at this terrible restaurant. Don’t experience what I experienced. Just refrain from going at all costs. Easy. Get yourself food poisoned here. One of the worst choices.
Super hospitable, nice staff and delicious food! Will definitely visit this place often 👍🏼
Both dishes were really too salty, unfortunately Naan bread wasn't the best, the service is very friendly
Delicious food, good service, quick delivery to the table. A must if you want to eat Indian in Düsseldorf.
It's very western friendly taste for me though. But still has more spice and kick than the indian foods you can find it in London. Great place with nice waiters. Foods were great. Nothing to complain. If you want more massala or spicy kick, you probably better ask them up on order.
very bad ... delay is big
Food is great. I just wonder why scampis are fried in their peel ?! Ambience is great. Staff appear disinterested, often distracted, and do not respond to customer requests (e.g. when the court changes). Definitely a lot of room for improvement in terms of personnel. Oh Kurwa
The best Indian restaurant in this district! The Taj Mahal is not far from the Leonardo Boutique Hotel. The food was delicious and the service was even better. Will be back on our next visit to Düsseldorf.
Absolutely delicious food, authentic atmosphere. Very friendly and warm-hearted service.
Great ambience, very personable service and really good food. I can only recommend it!
Worst and may be the most pathetic restaurant not in Germany but entire world. We ordered some veg starters Paneer Tikka and Mix pakora(they have a fancy name for it). After a long wait for about an hour Paneer tikka came which was as hard as stone and rotten from inside. See the pics and acknowledge by yourself. Mix pakora in which they gave some onion, potato and other veg pakora and 1 samosa. This was a disaster, full of oil and samosa was burnt from inside. On asking this to the waiter, he started making excuses and was not apologetic at all. Along with that we also ordered tomato soup which was as sour as eating raw lemon and sweet corn soup which was somewhat ok. After this utter non sense, we decided to skip our main course. Go there if you want to spoil your evening and return back puking. I am not sure if we can report this somewhere, if yes, I will surely do that.
The food was delicious and well seasoned. The ambience of the restaurant is also great and you felt comfortable right away. Nice and courteous staff. I would love to come back!
Really nice traditional food. I enjoyed too much the lunch time 😋
Spontaneously went with my family. Great food and very friendly staff, make sure that you are always satisfied and have everything you need. Definitely to be recommended
The food was really delicious, very good and tasty Indian cuisine. Cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. We would like to come again.
We recommend! The most delicious thing I've eaten in a long time! Great, very friendly and courteous service! We would love to come back! :)
very tasty food, friendly service, good service. Were here spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised! Decor is nice but subtle and prices are reasonable
Somehow all the dishes tasted the same to me...
I was surprised to see it in Germany
Good service and nice thaili dinner
Waited for 10 minutes, but the waiter didn't bother to come out of the kitchen. He only noticed me when I went to get a menu myself. Although advertised outside and online they didn't have the lunch menu that we came for. And on top of that the waiter didn't even wear his mask. Sadly I can't judge the food because we just left at that point.
They don't know chow mein.
Quality of is great. If you are just looking for tasty food I would recommend. But I won't spend there more time than it takes finish my food
Loved the ambiance
Wish i could give negative stars. Very unprofessional service. Food was total geschmacklos and nothing Indian about food. Food was filled with foodcolour.
When i gave a polite review that about food was not properly cooked ; they acted as if i abused them , very unprofessional; please try another places ! Look at the water price ! My stomach hurts after eating.
Not good service
Not good
Kaltes Essen keine indian Schmeck. They just put worng bill and when I ask they said we give you free drink even though drink is cheaper. I am not German but its not Indian kitchen and taste every thing cold and bad taste.
